Nurse: "So here is a profile shot. Here are the little hands, the little feet, and lets take a look at little ones' heart."
Philip: "Is everything attached? Uh, I mean is everything in place."
Nurse: "Yep. Everything normal so far."
Philip: "What about the brain, everything in there?"
Nurse: "Yep, looking great."
[Liv suddenly takes blanket out of mouth]
Liv: "Oh wow, baby."
Nurse: "Oh wow, there's the looooooong leg, or the femur bone. The measurements here mean the length of the legs are in the 95% percentile. "
Philip: "Figures"
Nurse: "Would you guys like to find out the sex?"
All: "Yes, please."
Nurse: "Well Liv, it looks like you're going to have a baby sister."
[Looks of bewilderment]
Liv: "No, boy."
Melissa: "No Liv, it's a little baby girl just like you."
Liv: "NO! Boy"
[Her fists clenched, eyebrows furled]
Nurse: "No, you're going to have a younger sister to play with, share clothes with...."
Liv: "NO! IT'S A BOY!"
[Screaming, banging on machines, running around the doctor's office, Philip stressing out, Melissa laughing with goop all over her belly, Liv screaming 'boy', pulling urine sample cups out of the cupboards, flailing the doctor's business cards all over floor]
Narrator: Needless to say, Liv had the blues. Liv wanted a boy; a sword-fighting chum, a friend to talk dinosaurs with. On the other hand, Philip and Melissa felt blessed for all little limbs, chambers and spine to be in tact. They have anything but the blues...and can't wait for their house of drama-queens.

Thats is Funny. tell Liv that her uncle Shaun knows how she feels. 3 times around. Why do you think we have so many kids. CAUSE SHAUN said the same thing , But didnt start throwing a fit until we got to the car.LOL. Congrads on you healthy baby. Hope for a smooth pregnancy and birth. When we get the chance I have to tell you about when we found out we were having Shaun Sii. It is too funny.

Cute little story, you can name your little girl Charlie just to make little Liv happy??? That is so cute how much she wanted a brother, I would think she would be thrilled with a sis but you say she LOVES boys!
